“South Park” is back to once again mock President Donald Trump — and this time, Vice President JD Vance, too.
The Comedy Central show took aim at the president, as well as Vance and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, in its latest episode, “Got A Nut,” which aired on Aug. 6.
The episode revolves around school counselor Mr. Mackey being fired from his job and, because he’s desperate for money, joining Immigration and Customs Enforcement. A parody ad for the federal agency mocks its recruitment process, with a jingle declaring, “We don’t ask for experience, just show up!”
I didn’t get it. Was it just that he was short?
It’s an old drama series from the late 70s. Essentially it’s an exclusive private island. Guests were granted so-called “fantasies” on the island for a price. JD Vance portrayed as Tattoo. Tattoo would run up the main bell tower to ring the bell and shout De plane! De plane! to announce the arrival of a new set of guests at the beginning of each episode. In later seasons, he arrives in his personal go-kart, sized for him, and recklessly drives to join the host for the visitor reception while the staff scramble out of his way.
So the parallels between Epstein island and other things lined up so well overall.
Also ran well into the 80’s with new episodes.
They also rebooted it twice. Once in the 90’s and once recently. I don’t know if Tattoo made a comeback, so only people 35 and up might get that reference.
I think the recent reboot is inexplicably a horror b-movie, yeah? Very weird.
Pretty decent honestly worth a watch
Also, the little person committed suicide in real life
He lived a fairly tragic life. But while on the show he was an asshole, constantly proposing marriage to female employees and demanding more and more pay, even wanting more pay than the star of the show. He was eventually fired because he was just too difficult to work with.
Lol, so the guy was an Incel, good fucking riddance to his ass. I did not know these alarming details, thank you. He killed himself because he couldn’t find a wife to make his life easier lol
He was not an incel. He actually did have quite a bit of sexual success, but it didn’t make him happy.
Still have the mindset, so it still counts, he expected women to be at his beck and call. Or is that just conservative ideology either way fuck him
Like Fantasy Island didn’t have a radio … or a flight schedule. That show has aged like Corinthian leather.
It was pretty implied that the islands and Mr Roark were supernatural. The terrible remake made it explicit. Roark seemed to have control of the weather and things would happen to force the characters into learning the lesson they were there for.
Popular theory is the guests has just died and this was a last chance at being “good” before judgement.
