Wow, didn’t expect that. Wasn’t it announced a few months ago that he had re-signed? The bit about AEW having changed is interesting, but also pretty obvious. I enjoyed him while he was on screen. He made it easy to boo him. Hope he has fun with whatever comes next.

Yeah I wonder what all caused it. I know his career has had a bit of a resurgence in Mexico so maybe that?

Not really. For the first year or two, it was big budget ROH. A core of talent and then a developmental midcard for new talent (which played well with his school).

Now they own ROH and regularly do collaboration with other companies. The strong core is already overcrowded, let alone opportunity for a developmental pipeline.

Possibly. Or maybe his good pal Cody put in a good word at the E…

Sucks to see him go as he definitely grew on me (minus the horrible teeth whitening job he got done…) but as everyone else said, kind of understandable. The primary reasons he was in AEW were cause he’s Cody’s boy, trains, does backstage stuff, helped book people on dark/elevation/etc. 90% of that stuff’s gone or TK has other people in the roles so it’s time for greener pastures.

Kind of bummed because QT was my favorite heel in AEW. He’s a great classic villain, cuts fun promos and consistently has good matches.

I’m worried about what this could mean for what remains of QTV.
