That is also what happens when people only show up for Presidential elections. It’s important to participate in ALL elections, even primaries… maybe especially primaries. You might get a candidate who is closer to your ideal.

But when you don’t show up when decisions are actually made…

Hi yes remind me again when it was that we came together and democratically selected Kamala Harris as the nominee?

I just can’t with these people. None so blind as those who will not see

Remember that time we participated in all elections then the Dems closed ranks against Bernie and stated in open court that they’re a private club and if the wrong person was selected they’d choose whoever tehy want? Because not a signel fucking democrat on earth does!

Crazy how quickly that vanished down the ol’ memory hole. People are acting like Harris won the nom in '20.

Good old President “0 delegates in her own state” Harris. Queen shit, in a very “seized the thrown in an illegitimate palace coup” kind of way. It’s so democratic i could weep at the beauty of it. thonk-cri

But rest assured that when the Harris administration starts genociding Palestinians in Gaza, I’m going to have a pretty big frown on my face

Biden had a more agressive deportation policy than Trump, but I assume that wasn’t by train. The only thing Biden did with trains was to break a trainworkers strike. vote

      A funny future

The elections are a huge surprise. The dems do shockingly well. In her inauguration speech Kamala says they’re gonna to put Roe into law. But - somehow - they can’t manage it in her first two years. The dems say the 2026 election is most important election because - Trust them(!) - they’re gonna pass a Roe law if they keep control of congress. In another shocker - they keep congress. They finally pass a Roe law. But then in a 100% non-surprise - the GOP justices say “Nah, unconstitional.” The dems are shocked - shocked(!) - by this 100% predictable situation.

The dems say the 2028 election is most important election because - Trust them(!) - they’re gonna pack sorry, expand the court and then pass a Roe law if they keep control of congress and Kamala wins again. In yet another shocker - the dems do shockingly well. In her second inauguration speech Kamala says they’re gonna pack the court and then put Roe into law. But as time passes more and dem senators say they are uncomfortable with packing the court and they won’t do it.

Meanwhile to punch them when they are down and pour salt in the wounds - Fetterman gleefully switches parties and says he’s been Born Again, he’s a proud republican, and he’s pro-life. The dems say the 2030 election is most important election because - Trust them(!) - they’re…

"yes, I’m voting Kamala this election. When she loses and the trump admin starts arresting my non-white neighbors and forcing them into trains, I’m gonna shake my head smugly–especially at the Arab ones. That way they’ll know they should’ve voted harder "

If that’s what’s at stake, better have a better plan than voting jb-shining

Biden/Harris: No more legal asylum! we’ll deport them all! Genocide forever!

Trump: No they won’t, I will, and I’ll do it better! Genocide forever!

Libs: Grow up and vote for the gooder evil.

That’s literally liberals are doing now. Supporting genocide and barely even mustering a perofrmative frown.

They fucking have to believe they’re averting worse, it’s the only self justification they have

I get real “kid repeating something their parent said” vibes from libs. Got the tone down pat but they don’t know wtf they’re saying.

I got this very literally from someone today “I’m a Democrat because my parents were democrats” in between spewing race hatred about muslims.
