Have a look at Reddit’s Director of Policy, who she worked for before and where, and try to post her name or history on Reddit. In my experience, it gets you permanently banned.

Yep. Some of us remember when it was Fuck Ellen Pao, they seem to like their sacrificial CEOs over there, though I’m sure they get paid too much to be the scapegoat.

Candid Camerait!Mastodon and Lemmy don’t have great interoperability. They use the ActivityPub protocol in ways that are not compatible with each other.
You’re right, they’re pretty different, though you can post from Mastodon to Lemmy I don’t know if you can do the reverse.
As others have said Firefish is a better fit, also Misskey is nice (long live Ai chan!)
