I’m not sure if you actually didn’t know, but bloodborne has been pretty great on shad since about a year ago? I got most of the way through it without issue.

It might be a CPU throttled if it’s doing that, it’s surprisingly not too GPU intensive. I was able to pull +60 with a 3070, not that I’d expect equal performance, but a 2070 should be about to get at least 30.

Idk man I was running on a 5 year old i9, it’s a hard comparison. I can only imagine it’s gotten better.

Currently running Bloodborne on a 5900x / 5080 on Mint and it has very few hiccups. Haven’t made it to cathedral ward yet, but the papa guacamole battle was smooth

You said “almost,” but seems like your linked video is a Steam Deck running it pretty well - what’s not working?

There are still some frame drops here and there. Definitely playable, but not something I would personally play on the Deck yet. Progress has been fast though, so in a year or so it might be stutter free.

I thought it was a pretty cool game. Fun setting and story (that obviously wasn’t completed, with the expectation of getting a sequel), and the graphics were nuts for the time. Honestly it still looks really good for today.
