Interesting. Now I want to know how many read write cycles can they last. That have always been a problem for my micro SD cards. They just die with frequent writing.

Why are they making yet another format when we already have SD Express? They could have just made one that supports PCIe 4 or 5 and speed wouldn’t be an issue.

To put that in context, the new MicroSD Express cards that work with the Nintendo Switch 2 top out at a theoretical 985MB/s, less than a third the speed. And while a full-size SD Express card could theoretically beat Mini SSD at 3,940MB/s, it would be nearly twice the size of Biwin’s creation.
So: because it’s smaller.
Why would you read the article when you could just complain in the comments?
