minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink7•11 months agoThat seems like a safety failure for a door handle. Maybe change the handles to something that can be opened when someone does this to you? You could kill everyone in aa building by placing 2x4s under each handle and lighting the place on fire. Crazy design flaw.
minus-squareSneezycatlinkfedilink3•edit-211 months agoOr, just use the key to open it from the inside without using the handle? Now that I think about it, why would an entrance door ever have a handle outside? Is this an American thing?
minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink4•11 months agoI’ve seen this design in Canada as well, it’s horrible. That outside knob literally has to turn down for the door to open, and it’s connected to the inside… no independent turning. Like wtf eh?
