Yeah agreed. At least with formula 1 it has insane engineering / r&d going on, but with football it just feels like guys running around on a field…
For it to be hundreds of millions for players is insane (bit I guess that’s dueto the size of the viewership? All that money still ruins everything though…)

The economics of football/soccer needs a bit of reckoning. TV deals and transfer fees are insane.

About one in three clubs in the top 92 are foreign owned.
