The veteran actor has received 10 nominations from the Academy over the years and won two.

Denzel Washington isn’t bothered about not adding another Academy Award nomination under his belt for his performance in Gladiator II.

I don’t know who beat him out for the nomination but I do know he was undoubtedly the best part of that movie
