It’s very dependent on the region. Where I live hotels either have nothing or both Christian bible and The Book of Mormon (with huge majority having nothing - just two chains having anything). IMO this is not an example of Christian privilege.
Yeah, I think it’s just a matter or who was willing to give the hotels some free books. I’ve also seen the Bible and book or Mormon in a lot of hotels, and I’m nowhere near Utah.
I’m wondering, if I wrote a book, would it be worthwhile to gift a bunch of copies to a hotel chain to get it into those rooms and hope for some new readers and some good buzz. That wouldn’t be privilege, it’s marketing.
