One thing trump is really good at is playing people off each other. The man has a learning disability and is under-educated, but only a fool denies his savvy. He accepted vance knowing he couldn’t hold a coalition of the stupid and greedy, and if trump falls, they all fall to infighting unless there’s a dark horse I’m not seeing.
Their politics are just as evil, but they’re not capable of being cult leaders. That alone is an improvement.
