There was also a push to draw from ex-military and other conservative demographics, but I don’t recollect the exact details. This compromise in quality was furthered by a scandal that had proxies taking the teaching standards tests for the already unqualified. So everything is going according to plan. /jfc

Yes, Walters is actively trying to destroy public education. He recently made an order that all schools fund free lunch for all students, using money from bonds, scholarships and other programs - all illegal.. The state turned away federal lunch funding as well. Even if you fired all of the admin staff at most districts, that is an impossible demand - and school budgets were already submitted weeks ago.
