You will find it is extra spicy here, since a lot of the “root” culture of Lemmy grew from exiled tankies of different flavours originally (it has since become a lot more diverse). If you are into that kind of drama, oh boy, it’s easily in the top 10 most discussed topics on Lemmy.
I’ll be honest, I am partial to the Tankiejerk crowd because they were the only Leftist community on Reddit that allowed me to ask the necessary questions needed to finally take a step away from Liberalism and start determining my place in Leftist thought / theory.
Anarchists (especially there, but, also in general) were always very patient and understanding, especially given how much Usonians need to be graded on a curve. 😄
If anyone is curious, I would say that after maybe 6 or 7 years of reading and talking and digesting following being accepted by that subreddit, that I settled somewhere between a Syndicalist (strong labor unions) and an Anarcho-Communist (free and independent Soviet system).
I am a Bahá’í, so, my values are basically ‘world unity.’ Our administrative and community structure mirrors that of the soviet. Both of those fit in neatly.
Oh shit!!! My favorite subreddit is on Lemmy :D
