I did the same, lost 30 pounds since.
I just don’t have the mental strength to avoid snacks when I’m anxious, stressed or depressed. It’s the only thing that worked for me.
didn’t work for me, I’ll just drive to the grocery store and buy candy. and then i buy a lot of it because it would be silly to drive there just for the candy.
i’m the same way, and after a while i’ve come to appreciate feeling like i don’t need the strength: if i set up my environment properly then eating healthy is one less thing i have to worry about, and i can use the leftover mental strength for other things.
