    I mean, I get it. Personally, if the one who wanted to make fake AI photos/videos of me (a cis male) as pregnant, I really could not possibly give a shit. Might even be amused by it. But I’m just some random nobody…

    However, if I were an international sports superstar with a multimillion dollar brand to protect (and countless millions in business deals relying on that established character), then, yeah, I would give a HUGE shit about this, but only for one reason: it’s a random stranger making unfounded character claims about my brand that I have worked very hard and for a very long time to define and establish. It’s how I feed my family.

    When some Rando makes a silly meme with Photoshop, that’s one thing. But when they fabricate an alternate reality, that crosses the goddamn line.

        As a society, we need the silly things like this to educate the people about how easy it is to generate this stuff. It’s almost better if their first exposure is something dumb and unbelievable.
