Not to keep anyone from nerding out around their children by all means. But as you do so, please remember this stuff means nothing to them (yet), and they will be forced to look at it for hours every single day during their most formative years. For you this is a bonding thing. For them it’s a strange old man aggressively staring them down 24/7 in their own room. There was a time where having this in my room 100% would have impacted me in a bad way.
