If you want to play it, go find the torrent there. I can’t say for certain its safe, so at your own risk.

And FFS use a VPN and do not play while your Switch is connected to the internet if you’re using official hardware, you know what Nintendo is like.

Please let me know if it’s any good! I’m going to wait till I’m on holiday so I won’t be playing it until release.

Nintendo is the Disney of bideo bames so this will invite unholy legal retribution.

Not quite as bad as Disney (I’d say they’re more like half Disney, half Ghibli), but yes still as shitty as all corporations are and also VERY shitty when it comes to cracking down on emulation. Which will be bad for everyone in the long run. Especially the games that the designers worked so hard on being lost to time because their higher ups kill any preservation efforts by considering it piracy.

The stupid thing is that the more these game companies get heavy handed with takedowns, the more pirates will rightfully say “fuck you” and double down. Notice how Nintendo games are getting leaked even earlier than before? Business types having no business sense, name a more iconic duo.

TOTK was also leaked 2 weeks before release and I played through the whole thing with Ryujinx in that time lol

Wonder why it’s always 2 weeks

Reminder to not be a dumbass like me and turn off any connectivity on your switch if playing before release.

(I got my 3ds banned from all online services for forgetting to turn wifi off before booting Pokemon a week before release. I obtained it through the homebrew eshop that existed at the time that literally let you download .cia files and install the game for free)

Just because I like what their developers make doesn’t mean I don’t hate their corporate body as much as any other private company.

I also consider piracy important because not only does it preserve the games, it’s the only way many poor people, particularly poor kids, can play games.

The hilarious thing is, If it weren’t for Piracy when I was a poor kid, I wouldn’t have bought nearly as many games as I had when I could afford them.
