There’s a chance that Musk has bought himself enough influence to turn conservatives on climate change. I don’t know if I expect it, exactly, but there’s a chance at a scenario where there is at least some progress there.
Granted Musk will mostly use it to enrich himself, but if he at least stops then from repealing green subsidies and the like, that’s movement in the right direction.

My best guess is that now that people have fucked around, they’ll soon find out. I believe a better world will eventually come into existence, but the transition is going to be slow, painful, and horrible for all of us.

My hope is that people really radicalize and realize that it takes others to really thrive and fight in a world/system/government built to neglect. I how people band together more and build stronger communities and practice mutual aid, etc. And that people learn what white supremacy really is…
