Almost every strain I smoke gives me the munchies, hardcore. Does anyone have any tips to curb them?

    Drink lots of water. Plan your (healthy?) munchie… Like set it aside and setup so when it comes it’s already the lazy answer.

    Yeah, keep more snacks on hand. Nothing tastes better after a few hits on the bong than some kale chips or baby carrots.

      This. I make all my own food from scratch. I have bread on hand and few mixes to put together a small meal but no snacks and no soda

    Maybe just me, but I lose my appetite the first 45 min. So sometimes I just have another puff to delay the munchies.

    I just work with the munchies, and find healthier option that “hit”. Like cold assed grapes. Or watermelon.

    I’ve always heard the key is to either put yourself somewhere where there isn’t food (as you’ll just forget about food if it’s not accessible), or make only healthy veg/fruit snacking available. Personally I just try to minimize how often I get high so the munchies are less of a problem lol

      I buy only what I need when sober, and when I’m stoned I’m too far from any shops to get munchies.

      Stoned me is not a fan of sober me, but the scales are.

    Here’s some ideas for your munchies:

    Banana, almonds, carrot sticks, hard-boiled eggs, apple slices, popcorn (air-popped), Greek yogurt, celery with peanut butter, orange segments, roasted chickpeas, cottage cheese, sunflower seeds, cucumber slices, edamame (frozen), trail mix, rice cakes, baby tomatoes, hummus with pita chips, frozen grapes, mixed raw nuts

      Honestly, canned chickpeas straight out of the can is great for the munchies. It’s salty, umami, and really filling. After a few spoonfuls I’m satisfied, and if I eat the whole can… Oh well!
