Ah so excited to see two of my favorite podcasts get recommended.
Tech bros never wanted to make the world a better place. They’re the 10% and they want to be the 0.1%. Where THEY get to be the boot on our necks.
He’s not talking about an unintended side effect. He’s discussing a primary mission goal. They want AI to enable more inequality, which is exactly why they’re trying to outlaw DeepSeek now.
They are trying to solve the $1 trillion question that the bourgeois have been seeking for centuries: How to remove the need to pay wages? How to remove the workers from the equation?
I’m convinced that if they get a robot which can serve as an acceptable soldier/laborer, they’ll go full Children of Men and sterilize most of the population. And they really believe AI will let them replace the artists, too.
