Genre still exists in the hearts of Americans. Not really anime, but animated at least.
You reminded me of Henzemi, was also an adult comedy that only got 1 season and barely any scanlations, it was very funny and well animated.

God YES, The battle against sleeping forest ova was cool to get at least.
Man. I would love an air gear reboot. The art style and comedy alone. Its also so weirdly unique relative to all the other shows.

That one… With the city and the eyes… Fuck what was it? Blood blockade battlefront! I loved the setting and world building.
Two things pop into my mind at least.
- Tokyo ghoul. I want a FMA brotherhood reboot. They would only need to do the second season really. (I know, very original)
- Votoms. I just want this in some modern graphics. I feel like a reboot of this series could gain some popularity currently. Less “real robot” series more gritty military Real Robot

With High school of the Dead 's story author’s death, I don’t think it will ever come back. Even the manga was cancelled.

I would normally remove comments using the r-word, but for those unaware, this is basically a paraphrased quote from the Ghost Stories dub that was mentioned. It was definitely a product of its time and would never be able to be made like that today.
It’s definitely… questionable in it’s content choices. I’m autistic and a member of the plus sign mafia. I’m not personally offended by any of the content, but there’s definitely stuff for a wide variety of groups to get mad at. It’s very 2000s. I don’t know if it caused any harm, but I don’t get the feeling that anyone meant for it to. Honestly, I unironically enjoy it. Maybe it’s better that it’s never coming back though.
It should just get remade for real, outside the USA this anime is considered very good, it was a myth to defend that dub.
Have you seen the dub? It seems to get the main points across. It’s honestly the only anime I’ve watched of my own free will. I was forced to watch bits of Demon Slayer and My Hero Academia by my little sister. Idk why anime communities show up on my social media so much. Anyways, the dub was funny.

Well, assuming that a modern remake or continuation can manage to recapture the magic of the original and retain its style:

Honestly, even though it’s already a masterpiece, it would not hurt my feelings to see a reboot of Chobits.
Give me two new seasons with new art, maybe explore some more of the storyline or something.
Failing a reboot where they redo it with modern art techniques and everything, maybe there could be a parallel line, or pick up where it left off and give us one additional glorious season of Chi taking her rightful place as the persocom empress of the world or something.
