People are doing that. Fertility rates are way below replacement rates. Now billionaires are freaking out that their customer base and work force is shrinking.

My only real counter to this is who created the dataset and did the people that were creating the app have any power to affect that?

A lot of AI research in general was first done by largely Caucasian students, so the datasets they used skewed that way, and other projects very often started from those initial datasets. The historical reason there are more students of that skin tone is because they have in general the most money to finance the schooling, and that’s because past racism held African-American families back from accumulating wealth and accessing education, and that still affects their finances and chances today, assuming there is no racism still going on in scholarships and accepting students these days.

Not saying this is specifically happening for this project, just a lot of AI projects in general. It causes issues with facial recognition in lots of apps for example.

But in reality these things have armor and bullet proof glass. Companies sell systems with disorienting light and sound, sonar and underwater surveillance, anti drone systems and also roaming drones. They’re floating fortresses.

It’ll be different depending on the skin color. The darker the skin, the shorter the road to slavery and skipping the feudal system.

The goal is to go back to the slave system using some legal trickery and brute force. The money is there to make it happen.

Let’s also remove protection for corporations above a certain revenue level. No more limited liability. If you’re a shareholder you’re personally responsible for anything what happens. Bankruptcies include personal fortunes.

To make search more lucrative, they’ve enshitified it and went too far, but for a short time there were great quarterly resukts. Now they’re slowly losing users. So they try AI to fix it up.

It’s also a signal to the shareholders that they’re implementing the latest buzzword, plus they’re all worried AI will take off and they’ve missed that train.
