The American left splintered so much this past election, into a bunch of tiny groups and nobody is leftist enough for anybody anymore. If you disagree with someone else on the left you’re automatically called right wing because they can’t fathom the idea of anyone who disgrees with them being on the left.

If you’re slightly right or even left of someone, you’ll get shit on, called names, have toxicity thrown at you. I even saw racism towards me for the first time from the left this past election, never mind that im indigenous and brown, I disagree with a point and suddenly im being moralized to by leftist white kids with hate in their breath. It’s no surprise, America is a shark infested ocean, you gotta be a shark to live there, so no wonder the American left became a toxic version of itself the way the right did.

I emphasize “American left” because to the rest of b us left around the world, your leftists are nuts too and only spew platitudes and half ideas, while continuing the American tradition of toxic rhetoric and world policing
